The Descent:Part 2 (2009)

Few days before, saw this movie ... expected the same thrill from the old one ...
same effect was there for first 45 min .. average movie --- not too great .
nothing to tell much about this one . The cave experience which i felt while watching the previous one , was maintained in this one also . this is the only appreciable factor of this movie .
good for watching it once .
not a one which is to be remembered .

Recent days

After a long time i viewed my blog .. thought of scribbling something ...
past 6 months good angel has haunted me .. i think ... many good things are happening ..

-- Kalyanam
I am really happy but little fear is there don't know whether i'm ready for a marriage ,whether i can live with totally new person ,how she can adjust with me , how she understands me ..
I have to change myself a lot to live with her . By the way i have to tell about her --
very cute and kind person .. By seeing her first -- i thought she is a silent creature (வாய் இல்ல பூச்சி ) now i came to know she is a talkative girl .. i like talkative girls .
easily understandable person .. good person to be with . im speaking to her on phone everyday ..
nice time having ... hope this continues for ever ..
may my happiness spread to every one with me ...

Last day at wipro

My days at wipro came to climax ... Its a happy ending ...with lot of sentiments and friendly hugs . I really enjoyed all my days at wipro and i have to thank wipro for all these .Thanks to azim premji for giving a job in his organization . wipro is my first organization too .
I will be missing all my friends ,colleagues and all the trees and lawns where i have spent lot of time sitting and chatting . Most improtant -- i will be missing all the "cute ladies" at wipro.
Thanks once againg for everything ..

Clash of the Titans 2010

I wasted my Sunday evening by watching this movie .. wasted money and time .
I'm pleading all you guys not to see it . I don't want to write about it also .

Y'day evening i saw this movie with so much expectation since it is from Vasantha Balan .
don't know why i didn't like this movie very much , Some moment mind is telling it is good, sometime it is telling in the opposite way . I'm writing this with a dilemma about the movie .
For the past one month I'm in very very ... happy mood -- this might be the reason why I'm not able to digest this movie even though it has a positive end .
To start with i have to appreciate Vasantha Balan for doing a good research on a subject which is so much familiar to us but left unbothered . Good appreciation should be given to the dialogue writer - jeyamohan .
Really it was superb when the wife of the small person tells about her son , who has born exactly same as his father with same physical problem .
"இனிமே இது குள்ளனுக்கு பொறக்கலைண்ணு யாரும் சொல்ல மாட்டாங்கள்ல?"

vasantha balan has taken a great pain in depicting a shop like saravana stores -- how it functions from morning to end - how the workers are treated and how the food is served and their dorm etccccccc... it goes on .. good work by him . New hero has done very well -- it doesn't look like his first film .
Negative part of the movie --
He has shown only the sufferings of the persons who are working in the shops like this ,only few happy scenes . After seeing i felt --god should not create so many problems in a persons life .I was depressed after seeing the movie , it really affects a lot . Throughout the movie -- only failures and sadness and sufferings . the sign of positive hope was very less . At the climax he has shown a handicapped positive ending not full-fledged happy ending . Appropriate climax -- all of a sudden good things will not start happening ,but he should have chosen something else instead of that bloodshed accident .
Most of the directors are failing to bring the sadness in the movie through human feelings .. for them sadness means -- getting raped , torture ,accident ... besides these -- there are many ways sadness can be shown .
Don't think it is very bad movie ... cannot be seen at all .. i have told it is a sad movie --- there is no other choice for the director - these peoples daily life is like this which we have not seen .
I will tell a movie is good -- when it affects me - either in a happy way or sad way .
this movie affects a lot - U cannot sleep after seeing this .
I'am withdrawing my sentence "I don't like the movie " --- I liked it ...
Great work by vasantha balan -- to select a theme llke this -- no movie is there to show the life of people working at ranganathan street .
I'm very much happy that -- our Tamil directors are really matured now -- they are thinking out of the box -- very different and doing a good research on the subject .
Time has changed , don't expect movies to be with a intro song , duet song in foreign country,one fight and happy marriage climax . Thanks to all the new directors who made this change .

zero degree - writting style of charu in chapter six

தமிழ் புத்தகத்தை சரளமாக படிக்க ஆரம்பித்து ஒரு வருடமே ஆகின்றது என்றதனால் என் நண்பன் ஒருவன் பல கருத்துகளை 'சாறு'வை பற்றி என்னிடம் சொல்ல எனக்கு பெரும் ஆர்வம் பற்றிக்கொள்ள சிரமப்பட்டு இந்த புத்தகத்தை வாங்கி படிக்க ஆரம்பித்த முதிலே அந்த பூக்கில் இருக்கும் chapter போல் என் எழுதும் சிதறி சின்னாபின்னா ஆகி அப்படி பட்ட புத்தகத்தை எப்படி படித்து முடிக்க முடியும் என்று என்னும் பொழுது ஆறாவது chapter யை படித்து இப்படி நானும் எழுத ஆரம்பித்துவிட்டேன்.

The Descent

Yet another thriller movie got added in my list.I'm ashamed of not watching this quite a long time.When i had a glimpse of this movie,I felt this is one more same kind of people eating people movie and neglected it.Yesterday i watched it .. really frightening and got a satisfaction of watching a thriller.
Really good work with the camera . Even though most part of the movie is in dark camera man has made it is such a way ,every scene is put in a clear manner so that viewers can see everything.Cave expedition shown makes us to feel "when we will be going like this to explore the nature" be cautious you can trapped in the same was as all the six ladies in the film . Neil Marshall has written screen play well - same getting trapped story told in a way that the viewers doesn't get bored of these.
Marshall crafted the story with women in the lead role -- and how dynamic they are in facing all the troubles . good movie to watch .
I'm going to try its sequel The Descent 2 - directed by Jon Harris .

Kathryn Bigelow, who directed Hurt Locker, made history as the first woman to be named best director in OSCAR. In doing so, she defeated her ex-husband James Cameron, who was behind the Avatar, which won only 3. The Iraq War drama "The Hurt Locker" was big winner at the 82nd Academy Awards,winning six Oscars .

A Tale of Two Sisters

Its a South Korean psychological thriller ..
Most of us would have been longing for a good horror/thriller film ,Since Hollywood horror films are just a blood shed,cutting saws,getting caught in a abandoned house,psycho killer who rapes and kills or kills and rapes,These flavors have been repeatedly used . Like this we can judge a English thriller just by seeing a single scene of it or just a poster is enough.(Some exceptions like PARANORMAL ACTIVITY) .. For all those who feel the same --This movie is the feast for u all .
It is a accepted fact that Asian thriller films outweighed Hollywood films.Most of them are remade in English -"the eye","shutter" etc. Even this movie has been remade and released recently in English named "The Uninvited" --compared to original version this is just single * movie.

"A Tale of two sisters" is a thriller which is made out of human relationships .. Which expresses human emotions and feelings.Background music is very good - very light and it has been given at right time when it is needed .Dialogues used in the film is very less.Director has told all the dialogues through visualization.Most importantly ,the suspense has been carried through out the movie. Please be patient while watching this ,as it is a very slow moving.I'm guaranteed ,You will have at-most satisfaction after u see the climax .You will get the clear understanding at the last.I don't want to share even a single scene of it and don't want to give a small clue about it . I watched this without knowing anything about it, haven't read any reviews also .Movie has been telecast ed in UTv WORLD MOVIES -- thanks to them .

It is one of the expressive suspense thriller .

A dream for women came true

Rajya sabha:Tuesday at 7.25 p.m.
Women Reservation Bill has been passed--with 191 votes for and 1 against . This clearly tells constitution has to reserve reserve one-third of seats in Parliament and the State Assemblies for women.A milestone has been achieved in womankind .
I feel that this bill should have been passed on Women day itself --that would be great gift to them... Oops what we can do ,All Unexpected(Good/Bad)things will happen in INDIA with all Expected(Masala mix)actions .
Lets see what happens in next house -- Awaiting for an action packed movie in Lok Sabha.Imagine that if the members are allowed to take in - some of their own kind of weapons - fight will be more interesting and our new channels will have good cover story .
Let's wish MANI RATHNAM or SHANKAR takes a movie on this .

Cinema Paradiso ********

I have decided this long back - if i'm writing a blog about movies , i will start with CINEMA PARADISO . To Frankly say I got interest on movies after seeing this movie only . FIRST IN THE LIST OF MINE .If you want to know about the directors , camera man ,actor and other technicians -- you can visit IMDB .http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0095765/
I'm not interested in discussing about these facts . Which are available in lot of websites . We have to say a thanks to the Director for giving movie like this .
This is an Italian movie which revolves around a boy named Salvatore and a projectionist named Alfredo in Giancaldo, Sicily.Story about a boy changing as a film director ..... (A must watch for all the upcoming directors ).Major part of the story is flash back - as a regular Indian movies . Major reason why most of the people will like this movie is -- even though it is other language movie - u wont feel that . It has all the ingredients which are needed for a movie every one can enjoiii it . By the way most of the Italian movies has good amount of comedy and sentiment part in it . Which are sufficient enough to bring tears in your eyes while laughing and crying .The boy who acted as Salvatore (childhood days ) -- he has done it superbly . You will feel like seeing those scenes again and again which depicts the mischievous characters of him .Director has shown very clearly the importance of a THEATER in a village were no other means of entertainment is available . He has given a full coverage of the functioning of that cinema theater ... it has impressed me a lot . To add good comedy - he created 3 or 4 characters in the film ,whom he will be showing every day as the story goes . (lunatic , Rich person who splits from balcony , theater manager etc) . I have learn't from him how to add comedy scenes without any dialogues .Most importantly - Good interesting dialogues were chosen as conversations between TOTO and ALFREDO . Even though i have seen this movie with english subtitles - i was so much impressed by the dialogues which were chosen , think if we know Italian.
I have not seen a climax like this -- I don't want to tell much about that -- since you guys will not expierence the feelings which i experienced . So pls after getting the DVD of this movie - don't fwd to climax part and see it . Very important. After seeing this climax - every one will have some tears running out of Ur eyes .
